DNA Test Done in Zainab Case
Director General (DG) Punjab Pharmaceutical Science Agency (PFSA) Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Tahir on Monday submitted a report of DNA samples collected from the Zenab body in Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday. Presented.
Dr Tahir told the court that an unknown serial killer, who was involved in the deaths of seven other nurses in the past, was Zainab alone. LHC Chief Justice Mansoor Ali Shah was hearing Zainab murder case. Justice Shah took notice of this incident and in addition to submitting a detailed report on the cruel murder of a 7-year-old girl in Kasur, presented the Punjab Inspector General Police (IGP) for 36 hours to arrest the criminals. DG Farnik Department told the court that “It is confirmed by the DNA professor that there is a criminal behind Kasra’s murder and murder cases.” He said that similar kind of crime was received in 2015. For which, Justice Shahid inquired for the reasons behind the guardian’s reaction to prosecuting the criminal.
On this occasion, he said Zainab would survive if the authorities had taken action against the criminal action. Expressing the failure of the Punjab police chief, Justice Shah said that this provincial government is looking and police is not serious to stop the crime rate in Punjab. During the court proceedings, an additional Inspector General (AIG) appeared before the court. AIG informed the judge that 67 DNA tests have been conducted as part of the investigation. He appears that a serial killer is involved in rape cases and murder cases. In an extraordinary move, Justice Shah also established two special courts in Kasur to ensure immediate justice to the victims to deal with child abuse issues. After this move, the III said that Kasuri alone had 108 cases of child sexual abuse.
